As an independent organisation, Children of India works on a set of projects which focuses on reaching out to children from extremely poor communities primarily in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The project reaches out to two Government high schools in Coimbatore and Erode districts of Tamil Nadu. The following are the project activities :

1. Scholarships to children covering education expenses
2. Distribution of notebooks and other stationary
3. Sensitisation on social evils of child labour and child marriage
4. Awareness on online safety and using mobiles & the internet responsibly
