SHAKILA MUTHUSWAMY

TRUSTEE

Ms. Shakila has more than 10 years of experience in the banking sector, specifically focusing on microfinance and financial empowerment of women in poverty. She has successfully implemented initiatives that have improved the economic stability 

SUBRAMANIAM SIVA

TRUSTEE

Mr. Subramania Siva, is a retired officer from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. As the State Convener of Tamil Nadu People’s Forum for Land Rights, he works towards improving the lives of tribal communities.

SARALA SRIDHAR

TRUSTEE

Ms. Sarala has worked in the development sector 17 years with expertise in counselling and fundraising. She is also the Managing Trustee of Samuthra Trust, a trust which works towards women and child empowerment.

HEMIMA RAJASINGH

TRUSTEE

Ms. Hemima has been working for women empowerment and specially-abled children for the past 15 years. She is also a project coordinator of SIVA Trust, an NGO in Tamil Nadu. Her commitment led to initiatives that have positively impacted many lives.

Dr.Kalpana

TRUSTEE

Dr. V. Kalpana is a social work professional, academic, researcher, and development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in social work education, research, community development, CSR, and human resources. She holds a PhD in Social Work from Bharathiar University and has worked with academic institutions, NGOs, research projects, and corporate organisations in various leadership and academic roles. Her areas of experience include research and evaluation, community engagement, capacity building, CSR and volunteering, and disability-focused programmes. She is currently an Assistant Professor and HRM Specialization In-charge at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, and serves as a Board Member of Children of India Foundation.

HEMANTH KUMAR

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Hemanth Kumar is a Chartered Accountant and Executive Director at CIF, with extensive experience in NGO internal and statutory audits, due diligence, grant and project audits, and finance and compliance advisory for leading national and international development organisations. He heads a proprietory CA firm in Bangalore, is a Partner at J.KSS & Associates in New Delhi, and contributes to the social sector as Trustee and Treasurer of TB Alert (India).

 

 

EZEKIEL KANAVALLI

SENIOR PROGRAMME OFFICER

Ezekiel oversees all programmes at the organisation and plays a key role in project design, monitoring and evaluation. He is actively involved in financial oversight, staff capacity building, and team coordination. With strong expertise in child rights and protection, he supports the organisation in strengthening quality programme implementation and safeguarding children’s well-being.

 

 

S.ANNE PRIYA

PROGRAMME & PARTNERSHIPS LEAD

Anne serves as the Programme and Partnerships Lead at Children of India Foundation. She guides programme implementation and strengthens collaborations with donors, partners, and stakeholders. She also manages projects in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, ensuring effective coordination and quality implementation at the field level. With a strong focus on child rights and protection, Anne works towards mobilising resources, building strategic partnerships, and supporting programme teams to create sustainable impact for vulnerable children and their communities.

MARKANDAY MISHRA

PROGRAMME MANAGER

Markanday leads programmes in Jharkhand, which focuses on addressing child labour in mica mining communities. His work centres on integrated rural development, with a strong emphasis on agro-based livelihoods and community development. He also brings expertise in building networks and fostering collaborations with stakeholders to strengthen community-driven initiatives.

JENIFAR Y

PROGRAMME MANAGER

Jenifar leads the programmes in Karnataka, focusing on addressing child exploitation linked to the Devadasi system. She plays a key role in coordinating field activities and working closely with communities to strengthen child protection mechanisms. With strong expertise in child protection and community engagement, Jenifar is deeply committed to advocating for the rights, dignity, and safety of vulnerable children and supporting their access to education and protection services.

RISHI R

PROJECT OFFICER- COMMUNICATION

Rishi R leads communications for the SUFASEC project at CIF, creating engaging content on online safety and child protection. He manages social media, designs campaign materials, and supports planning and community engagement.

DHEENA J

EDUCATION OFFICER, THE MICA PROJECT

Dheena oversees the field operations and the education component of the MICA Project in Jharkhand. He plays a key role in coordinating programme activities at the community level and ensuring effective implementation in the field. Dheena also leads the child-led interventions, supporting children’s groups and encouraging their active participation in addressing issues related to child rights, education, and protection within their communities.

DEEPA J

FINANCE MANAGER

Deepa serves as the Finance Manager and oversees the organisation’s accounting, financial management, and administrative operations at the registered office in Coimbatore. She is responsible for maintaining financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with organisational and statutory requirements. Deepa also coordinates office administration and day-to-day operational activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organisation. She additionally provides financial management support to the CCCEP project implemented in Coimbatore and Bangalore.

SUJITHRA

FINANCE COORDINATOR

Sujithra manages financial operations from the Coimbatore office. She is responsible for budgeting support, procurement processes, contract management, and compiling invoices and bills. Sujithra also provides financial management support for the MICA and Children GOOD projects, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with financial procedures.

 

 

 

 

MARY FLORA

OFFICE MANAGER

Mary Flora manages the administrative and HR operations at CIF. She coordinates with vendors, manages office operations, human resources and staff care. 

 

 

 

 

 

Renuka Marthandappa

Fundraising Manager

Renuka is responsible for finding new funding opportunities, managing the donor pipeline, building relationships with existing and new donors, writing proposals, coordinating due diligence, and organising donor visits and engagement activities. The role also works closely with the leadership, programme, and finance teams to share the organisation’s work and impact with donors and build long-term partnerships and sustainable funding for CIF.

 

 

 

 

 

Bhargavi N Prakash

MIS & Communication Officer

Bhargavi serves as an MIS & Communication Officer, supporting GOOD programme through data management, analysis, reporting, and communication. She develops and maintains MIS systems and interactive dashboards to analyse and present programme and children data, generating insights to support informed decision-making. She also contributes to communication materials, documentation, success stories, reports, and other knowledge products to effectively capture and communicate programme learnings and impact.
