Children of India foundation has made significant improvements in people’s lives between 2021 and 2022, attesting to life-altering changes for individuals in need, particularly children and women. This year we have addressed child labour, child marriage and other forms of exploitation against children, reaching out to 35,583 children and 66,253 families across 8 states and 31 districts. We ensured that 8096 children accessed education, 807 health care and 1148 were protected from harmful exploitation. We grappled with the second wave of COVID-19 providing people with access to vaccinations, cash relief, ration kits as well support to children who have lost their parents to the pandemic.
