Children of India Foundation is very fortunate to have been supported by TheGood Share Social Consultants Ltd, with 400 face masks for children and staff from its IMAGE and IMAGE Next projects.
These face masks were distributed across 5 districts, namely Bidar, Bagalkot, Belagavi, Chikaballapur and Chamarajanagar, with the support of our field partners such as Vidyanikethan, REACH, SEVAK, ARPANAM Trust, and PMSR.
The face masks were distributed by the partner team field staff to frontline health workers, local PHC staff, local government workers in Panchayat Raj offices, ASHAs, AWWs, ANMs, local police, volunteers in the community, partner staff and our early married girls who are now movement leaders in the IMAGE Next programme.
The beneficiaries mentioned above expressed their gratitude and ensured that they would follow all the basic COVID-19 protocols, while interacting with the community. The face masks distribution was carried out following standard COVID protocols such as maintaining social distancing, using hand sanitisers and wearing face masks.
