How did we provide food security?
Due to the surge in the number of covid cases, and deaths related to it, we distributed ration kits to vulnerable families struggling to survive the second covid wave. Give India, India’s largest donation platform supported us in this endeavour.
Vision
To address hunger in poor families during COVID times due to unemployment and loss of livelihood.
Mission
To help the vulnerable families survive the COVID second wave by providing ration kits.
Each of the ration kits can feed a family of 4-5 people for 15-20 days. Families were able to access nutritious food during the pandemic and prevent themselves from getting infected. The kit contained cereal, pulses, vegetables, oil, sugar, and salt with specifics suiting the consumption patterns of respective districts.
