The Children of India Foundation and Thozhamai in collaboration with Terre des Hommes Netherlands organised a National Consultation on Preventing and Addressing Online Child Sexual Exploitation (OCSE) at The Residency Towers in Chennai on September 26th-27th, 2023. The two-day event provided a platform for experts, stakeholders, and youth ambassadors to address the pressing issue of OCSE in India.
The primary goal was to create a unified agenda for systemic change in addressing OCSE nationwide. Participants explored the various dimensions of OCSE and its implications in different states of India, fostering a holistic understanding of the problem. The event provided a platform for participants to share their experiences, best practices, and innovative approaches to addressing OCSE.
The event featured esteemed speakers who shared their expertise and experiences on Preventing and Addressing Online Child Sexual Exploitation (OCSE). This provided a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking within the cybersecurity and child protection community.
The National Consultation on Preventing and Addressing OCSE proved to be a significant step forward in the collective effort to protect children online.
